Claims Adjuster, Cyber

Description

We are seeking an experienced claims professional to strengthen CFC’s claims team and ensure delivery of high-quality claims service to policyholders, brokers, underwriters, and capacity providers. The ideal candidate will have experience in cyber and technology claims and will work with the CFC Claims and Incident Response team, along with external vendors including forensic, legal, and PR specialists. The role involves ensuring a cost-effective, high-quality response to insureds and collaborating with Underwriting, Finance, IT, and Products teams while complying with all legal and statutory requirements (FCA and Lloyd’s).

About the role

The Cyber Claims Adjuster will work closely with CFC’s internal Incident Response Team to guide clients and coordinate with external response partners to effectively manage cyber incidents.

  • Handle cyber and technology claims proactively from first notification to settlement within delegated authorities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with policyholders, brokers, underwriters, and capacity providers, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate with response vendors during incidents.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate reserving, pursue third-party recoveries, and minimize claims leakage.
  • Collaborate with underwriters on claims trends and provide feedback to the Products team for product development.
About you

The ideal candidate will have a passion for Cyber and Cyber Security, with:

  • Experience dealing with external stakeholders in customer service or consultancy roles.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines such as lawsuits and demand letters, and manage claims queries.
  • Skills to manage cyber incidents and forensic investigations effectively.
