Westlakes Recruit is currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager to be engaged on a permanent basis, based in Lincoln.

What you'll be doing

As a Commercial Manager, you will:

1. Be responsible for overseeing and implementing the commercial activities for the Core Highways Maintenance Contract for the client.
2. Ensure that the projects are completed within budget and in line with client procedures.
3. Strive to optimise the profitability of the company.
4. Manage the Service Area budgets in conjunction with the Construction Managers, understanding fluctuations in margins against budgets, and agreeing changes and solutions with the Service Area teams and Commercial Manager prior to implementation.
5. Manage and undertake the personal development reviews of the surveying team/resources, including training.
6. Ensure the procurement of sub-contractors is in line with BB Group procedures and that the packages cover the scope of the works.
7. Administer, value, and pay for the sub-contract works in accordance with the sub-contract terms and conditions.
