About the opportunity

Our Mobile Dispensing Opticians play a key role in providing crucial clinical support in stores for regulated dispensing. You will work closely with a Mobile Optometrist to ensure a seamless patient journey from chair to dispense.

• Role models, leads, and delivers exceptional care, supporting patients and customers in making appropriate choices regarding optical and healthcare products and services.
• Works flexibly across the opticians area according to business needs, continually developing knowledge to serve patients and customers effectively.
• Provides expert knowledge for patients with more specialized requirements.
• Delivers complete healthcare solutions, coaching team members, and collaborating with Boots Healthcare teams for integrated health solutions.
• Supervises development, education, and training of colleagues and mentors students, including Student Dispensing Opticians.
• Complies with practice standards and Boots Opticians clinical policies and procedures.
• Supports the team to deliver efficient operational processes, ensuring legal and safe trading.
• Participates in store leadership meetings to maintain high clinical standards and patient safety.
• Embraces the digital agenda, introducing customers to new tools through engaging conversations.
• Willing to travel to stores within the area as required.
