Role overview

As a Mobile Dispensing Optician at Vision Express, you'll travel to multiple stores in your area to provide specialized expertise in helping customers choose the right eyewear. You will ensure that eyewear fits properly and meets the customers' visual requirements and preferences. You'll advise on lens options, coatings, and frames suitable for different lifestyles and budgets.

Your expertise will play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission of 'See More and Be More' by providing tailored eyecare and eyewear solutions that maximize customers' visual potential and enhance their lifestyles.

Although the hours are advertised, we are open to discussing flexible working options to suit your needs, whether that involves hours to fit around school runs or a compressed workweek.

Who is the perfect candidate?

• A degree or diploma in Optometry or Ophthalmic Dispensing with registration on the General Optical Council
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport, translating professional terminology into understandable language for patients
• Exceptional attention to detail in maintaining accurate customer records, prescriptions, and requirements
• Strong teamwork skills with colleagues across the store
• The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment
• Confidence, passion, drive, and enthusiasm
