HSBC UK - Client Director in Global Trade Solutions

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced individual for the position of Client Director. The Client Director reports to the Head of Client Management within MME and manages a portfolio of complex Receivables Finance clients, including day-to-day trade facilities management. The role involves mitigating risks and identifying growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Represent HSBC as the primary GTS provider to clients.
  2. Establish and strengthen client relationships, ensuring fair outcomes.
  3. Communicate new products, propositions, and market updates.
  4. Support business development to meet asset, sales, and revenue targets.
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
  6. Maintain risk management standards through credit and customer due diligence.
Candidate Requirements
  • Ability to engage with senior and strategic business clients.
  • Knowledge of GTS services, products, and techniques.
  • Experience structuring ABL facilities.
  • Understanding of Financial Crime and Credit Risks and mitigation techniques.
  • Familiarity with commercial banking propositions and products.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentations.
  • Business acumen with awareness of economic, cultural, procedural, and regulatory issues.
