Mould Process Technician - 3 shift rotation (mornings, afternoons, nights)

Main Purpose of the Job

This role involves working as part of a rotating 3-shift mould team for injection moulding production and new project launches.

Main Responsibilities and Results

1. Achieve cycle times matching or improving upon costed cycle targets.
2. Identify opportunities for cost savings, such as material usage and masterbatch.
3. Support setters on shift with technical matters.
4. Ensure documentation is complete and accurate, including tooling data and safety checks.
5. Check machine settings against master parameters.
6. Perform tool changes and start-ups following procedures.
7. Issue first-off parts once processes are validated.
8. Approve first-off documentation for production.
9. Monitor purge waste according to policies.
10. Adhere to technician and setter responsibilities.
11. Report tooling or equipment issues and suggest improvements.
12. Reduce tool change times through efficient practices and training.
13. Lead or assist in tool changes to meet schedules.
14. Propose process improvements.
15. Record process and downtime data accurately.
16. Maintain flexibility in working hours, including overtime.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• IMT3 Injection Moulding qualification.
• Knowledge of polymers, drying, residence time, processing, and HSE considerations.

What You'll Get

Competitive salary plus holiday pay. Working hours are 40 per week on a rotating schedule: afternoons (14:00-22:00), mornings (06:00-14:00), and nights (22:00-06:00). Training will be provided, with opportunities for growth within the organization.
