Job Description

As Stores Cell Leader, you will oversee and coordinate daily warehousing activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards to achieve appropriate volume levels within time limits. Your goal will be to ensure daily operations meet and exceed performance expectations and contribute to increasing the company’s market share. You will foster a working environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement. A key aspect of this role is measuring and reporting the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee performance, identifying areas for improvement, and establishing or adjusting work procedures and practices.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  2. Supervise order picking, goods in, and goods out operations to ensure accuracy with minimal handling and stock damage.
  3. Organize, facilitate, and manage cycle counting at regular intervals.
  4. Ensure timely delivery of products to customers using appropriate methods.
  5. Operate visual delivery tracking systems for quick commodity status overview.
  6. Ensure compliance with internal delivery processes to support dispatch time windows.
  7. Follow up and resolve customer concerns.
  8. Identify process weaknesses, analyze root causes, and implement robust countermeasures.
  9. Sustain corrective actions to prevent repeat issues.
  10. Support operational budget reduction through efficiency improvements.
  11. Manage the implementation of engineering changes, production trials, model changes, and pilot builds to ensure robust product lifecycle management.
  12. Collaborate with the Line Manager to implement warehouse and management systems and practices aligned with continuous improvement principles.
  13. Review and improve operational methods to enhance quality and productivity while maintaining customer service standards.
  14. Manage forklift truck operations to ensure full capacity is achieved and maintained.
  15. Oversee scheduled maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
  16. Maintain warehouse security, access control, and 5S housekeeping standards.
  17. Ensure stock accuracy by aligning physical stock with warehouse management systems and recording all stock movements.
Experience
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a warehouse, stores, or supply chain operations.
Skills, Training, or Special Knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP systems.
