Our client based in Skelmersdale is looking to recruit a HR Advisor
The role involves:
- Policy Development: Collaborate across sites with the wider HR team to develop policies and procedures in line with best practices and legislative requirements, ensuring harmonization and consistent implementation.
- Culture and Engagement: Support culture change initiatives and actively participate in strategic HR projects to enhance employee engagement.
- Communication and Cross-Functional Work: Promote effective communication and support the development of cross-functional teamwork.
- HR Advisory: Act as an advisor to facilitate key business decisions, providing HR guidance.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Support recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes within best practice guidelines and budget constraints, assisting the Head of Talent Acquisition as needed.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Guiding performance development reviews and identifying training needs.
- Participating in developing performance metrics and driving KPI delivery.
- Advising management on ER issues such as performance management, absence, disciplinary, and grievances, in line with policies and legislation.
- Identifying business improvement opportunities and new initiatives to engage staff.
- Producing reports and HR presentations for the business.
- Supporting all employee lifecycle stages, from recruitment to exit.
- Maintaining confidentiality and compliance with GDPR.
- Project managing HR-related projects.
- Supporting and covering for the HR Co-Ordinator and HR Administrator group.
- Collaborating with the Marketing team to enhance internal and external employer branding.
- Supporting payroll functions and system development activities.
- Performing other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- HR or Business Graduate (desirable)
- Part or fully CIPD qualified
