Multi-Skilled Mobile Maintenance Technician

Location: Covering London, Home Counties.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm (plus 1 hour eachway for travel, and 1 hour for lunch)

The Opportunity

A Technical Facilities Maintenance company is seeking a reliable and adaptable Multi-Skilled Mobile Engineer to support a prestigious client portfolio, including several properties across London, the Home Counties, and extending to Bicester. These are private, well-maintained buildings associated with a VIP family and their staff.

The role involves carrying out a mixture of planned maintenance and compliance-based tasks throughout the year. During July and the first two weeks of August, when the family is in residence, the workload increases, and no leave can be taken. Outside of this period, the pace is more measured and planned.

The Ideal Candidate

This role is best suited to someone with a stable employment history, a practical mindset, and a good level of professional maturity. It is not about ticking every technical box; what matters most is attitude and willingness to help with any task that arises.

1. Technically qualified in either mechanical or electrical discipline (and comfortable across both)
2. Flexible in approach and able to work across various building systems as needed
3. Capable of working independently when required, while being a supportive team member
4. Smartly presented, respectful, and able to deal with clients and staff professionally and courteously
5. Discreet, trustworthy, and reliable in a sensitive environment
6. Willing to undergo a police background check
7. Open to some travel across the region (van provided)
