We’re recruiting aDirector of People & Changefor apublic sector clienton a12-month Inside IR35 contract, paying up to£832 per day. The role ishybrid, with 2–3 days a week on-site inLondon, Cardiff, Croydon, Sale, Birmingham or Wakefield.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a strategic HR function covering L&D, ER, talent, wellbeing, H&S, payroll, and EDI.
- Drive large-scale change programmes, including workforce design and cultural transformation.
- Build inclusive policies, support organisational development, and enhance employee experience.
- Act as a senior people advisor, engaging confidently with executive stakeholders and trade unions.
- Senior HR leadership in public sector or large complex environments.
- Strong transformation, ER, and trade union experience.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.
- BPSS clearance (or willing to undergo).
