Job description

Job Title: HVAC Engineer

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer in the Essex area for our client, a leading HVAC company with over 20 years of experience and 6 regional offices. The company specializes in providing comprehensive solutions including installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of various HVAC equipment.

Their client base includes long-standing relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison, and more.

Position Details - Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary up to £42,000 DOE
• Company Van (optional for personal use)
• Profit share scheme after 12 months' service (up to £3,600 tax-free)
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
• 40-hour workweek; travel paid after 30 minutes each way
• On-call allowance (£1,200 guaranteed, 1 in 4/5 rotation; travel paid door-to-door if called out)
• Pension scheme
• 22 days' holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years
• Company uniform, phone, and PDA

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience with servicing, fault finding, and repairing air conditioning systems such as VRV/VRF, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs, and Cold Rooms
• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent (apprenticeship not essential)
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas) certification
• Full valid driving license
• Resident in the Essex region
