South Essex to Kent (Field–Based Role)
Our client is a well–established name in the HVAC and building services industry, known for delivering high–quality maintenance and support to commercial clients across South Essex and Kent. With continued growth and a strong pipeline of contracts, they're looking to add a fully qualified F–Gas Engineer to their expert team.
Whether you're fault–finding, delivering preventative maintenance, or replacing PCBs, your technical skill and problem–solving mindset will be truly valued.
The Role – Technical, Varied, and Key to Client Success
You'll play a crucial role in keeping commercial HVAC systems safe, compliant, and performing at their best. This is a field–based role covering a range of commercial sites, offering a mix of service, maintenance, repair–and occasional installation work.
Your responsibilities will include:
– Diagnosing faults and delivering effective, safe repairs
– Carrying out leak detection, pressure testing, and PCB replacements
– Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and servicing
– Managing your own schedule and working independently
– Liaising professionally with clients and reporting to internal teams
Installation experience is welcome but not essential.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a self–motivated, hands–on engineer with a strong foundation in HVAC servicing and repair. Someone who takes pride in doing the job right and communicates well with clients.
You'll need:
– FGAS certification (Category 1 preferred)
– Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience
– Strong fault–finding and diagnostic skills
– Competence in delivering PPM and service work
– Full UK driving licence
– Your own basic hand tools
