As a Customer Service Support Officer (internally known as Technical Support Officer) at Alcumus, you will assist the Audit Services team in conducting desktop assessments of customer accreditation documentation and provide technical support via phone and email to ensure a first-class customer experience.
You will work with our SafeContractor product, which offers UKAS-accredited contractor accreditation services, ensuring contractors meet health and safety, equal opportunities, diversity, and environmental management standards—all in one plan.
Full onboarding and training will be provided, along with support to obtain health and safety-specific qualifications required for this role.
This role is based in our Cardiff office and requires working from the office three days a week.
Key skills include customer service, administrative experience, and attention to detail. You will liaise with customers, verify documentation, and apply quality standards consistently. Confidence in handling inquiries via phone and email, along with good written English, is essential. Being a team player and working collaboratively towards shared goals is also important. Some interest or experience in health and safety or compliance is beneficial but not required.
