Job description

I have an exciting opportunity for a Case Administrator role paying £12.21 per hour, based in Kidlington. The initial contract length is until June 2025.

Summary

The job holder will provide administrative support within the Probation Service, ensuring that staff and people on probation are supported through efficient processes. They will maintain administration systems within specified timescales to promote the achievement of team and divisional objectives. The post holder must adhere to all policies regarding the sensitive and confidential nature of the information handled in this position.

Responsibilities, Activities & Duties
  1. Responsible for setting up and maintaining accurate records of people on probation and victim information on relevant approved databases.
  2. Ensure the effective administration of referrals to and relationships between offender management, victims, interventions, service providers, and external agencies to enhance positive outcomes, manage risk, and reduce reoffending.
  3. Prepare, maintain, and collate case records, files, and management information according to standards.
  4. Receive and distribute information and communications appropriately (telephone, paper, email).
  5. Provide cover for an effective reception and telephone enquiry service.
  6. Act as a single point of contact within the unit for a specialist area as required.
  7. Deal fairly and effectively with people on probation, including those in crisis or displaying aggressive behavior, seeking appropriate support as needed.
  8. Attend meetings, organize agendas, take notes/minutes, and distribute action points.
  9. Ensure all activities comply with Health and Safety policies, undertaking equipment tests as required.

8:00 am to 4:00 pm
