Electrical Storeman Opportunity - Leading M&E Contractor - Major Pharmaceutical Development - Oxford

MK Search is working closely with a leading M&E contractor with a turnover of approximately £150m, who are looking to recruit an Electrical Storeman for a flagship pharmaceutical project in Oxford. The project involves £20m of MEP delivery and is expected to continue for at least another year, with additional work planned in the region.

Responsibilities:

1. Take in and check all deliveries in line with bi-weekly/monthly orders and reconcile any issues or inconsistencies.
2. Confirm goods received are stored according to company standards and note any variances.
3. Check quantities, inspect items, and arrange drop-off points for goods on site.
4. Store or distribute goods to sites as required.
5. Notify relevant personnel of deliveries and store locations.
6. Liaise with colleagues and suppliers regarding product quantity or quality issues, and take measures to reduce redundant stock.
7. Perform ad-hoc cleaning duties.
8. Comply with all EHSQ policies and procedures.
9. Load out sites as required.
10. Open the store before site staff arrive each day.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Stores System.
• Ability to build rapport with colleagues and other teams.
• Ability to use initiative.
