About The Role

Business Systems & IT Support Specialist

The Role

In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting system users and maintaining computer systems and hardware to ensure smooth operations. As a self-driven professional, you'll thrive in a user-facing environment where independence and motivation are key. With strong written and verbal communication skills, you'll provide essential technical assistance, helping teams stay connected and productive. Principle Accountabilities

• Provide first-line support for ERP and other core systems, including Microsoft Business Central and IFS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to systems, monitor system performance and implement improvements when needed.
• Liaise with system support partners where needed to resolve issues.
• Assist with the implementation and upgrade of systems.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure effective use of systems.
• Maintain documentation related to systems, including user manuals and technical guides.
• Ensure data integrity and security within the systems.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of business analysis and process mapping.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in supporting ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Business Central or IFS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management is a plus.
• Experience in Organisational Change Management.
• Experience with system integration and data migration.
• Familiarity with business processes in finance, supply chain, and operations.
• Previous security clearance would be advantageous.
