A welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Chester is seeking a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. This opportunity is perfect for graduates who are considering a future in education and want to build essential classroom experience in a nurturing and forward-thinking setting.
Key Details: Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant
Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Weekly pay: Up to £550 per week
Start date: Immediate or September 2025
Support learning across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 depending on experience and interest
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs
Work closely with teaching staff and the school’s SENCO
Candidate Requirements: Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant
A 2:1 degree or higher in Education, Psychology, or a core subject (English, Maths, Science)
A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their educational progress
Previous experience in a school or working with children is desirable but not essential
Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
A proactive and compassionate attitude
