Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a Medical E-Rostering Advisor to support the rollout and ongoing maintenance of the E-Rostering system. You will train staff, provide expert guidance to rota coordinators and medical staff, and coordinate doctor rotations across the trust.

The role requires a degree or equivalent experience, ongoing CPD, and strong Excel/reporting skills. This is a Band 5, full-time fixed-term/secondment position with opportunities for internal

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• GCSE Maths & English.
• Excellent typing/IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the rollout, implementation, and maintenance of the Trust’s E-Rostering system.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops in support of the E-Rostering project.
• Provide advice and guidance to rota coordinators, medical staff, and managers on the effective use of E-Rostering functionality.
• Line manage the Medical Workforce rostering team, including completion of appraisals, monitoring sickness absence and coordination of annual leave.
• Lead on project work, reporting and data analysis to support service improvements.
