Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking an experienced E&P Approved Electrician to join its Rail Infrastructure team in the UK. You will install, test and certify electrical systems across multiple sites while ensuring compliance with BS7671 and project designs.

The role involves frequent travel to project sites nationwide and you will mentor apprentices, contributing to a culture of safety and excellence. A full UK driving licence and relevant electrical qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Completed Electrical Apprenticeship and Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Systems.
• Holds 18th Edition BS7671 qualification.
• ECS Gold Card – Approved Electrician.
• City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395.
• Experience testing electrical installations.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, test and certify electrical systems per designs and BS7671.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality installations.
• Verify installations against drawings and designs.
• Promote Siemens Zero Harm culture.
• Support development of apprentices and team members.
• Travel to UK project sites as required.
