Siemens Mobility is seeking an experienced E&P Approved Electrician to join its Rail Infrastructure team in the UK. You will install, test and certify electrical systems across multiple sites while ensuring compliance with BS7671 and project designs.

The role involves frequent travel to project sites nationwide and you will mentor apprentices, contributing to a culture of safety and excellence. A full UK driving licence and relevant electrical qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Completed Electrical Apprenticeship and Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Systems.
• Holds 18th Edition BS7671 qualification.
• ECS Gold Card – Approved Electrician.
• City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395.
• Experience testing electrical installations.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsabilités

Our Low Voltage (LV) Division delivers critical electrical infrastructure projects across the UK’s railway network. As an E&P Approved Electrician, you’ll become part of a highly skilled team working on prestigious rail projects, helping to deliver safe, reliable and innovative electrical systems.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced E&P Approved Electrician to join our Rail Infrastructure team. This role requires frequent travel from UK sites.

You’ll make a difference by

• Installing, testing and certifying electrical systems in accordance with project designs, drawings and BS7671 standards.
• Working collaboratively with project teams to deliver high-quality installations safely, efficiently and within agreed timescales.
• Verifying installations against electrical drawings and designs.
• Promoting and maintaining Siemens’ Zero Harm culture.
• Supporting the development of apprentices and new team members.
• Travelling to project sites across the UK as required.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

Must haves:

• Completed Electrical Apprenticeship and Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Systems.
• 18th Edition BS7671 qualification.
• ECS Gold Card – Approved Electrician.
• City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395.
• Experience testing electrical installations.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
