Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking an experienced E&P Approved Electrician to join the Rail Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for installing, testing and certifying electrical systems across UK sites, ensuring compliance with BS7671 and project drawings.

Qualifications

• Completion of Electrical Apprenticeship and Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Systems.
• 18th Edition BS7671 qualification.
• ECS Gold Card – Approved Electrician.
• City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395.
• Experience testing electrical installations.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Installing, testing and certifying electrical systems in accordance with project designs, drawings and BS7671 standards.
• Collaborating with project teams to deliver high-quality installations safely, efficiently and within timescales.
• Verifying installations against electrical drawings and designs.
• Promoting Siemens’ Zero Harm culture.
• Supporting the development of apprentices and new team members.
• Traveling to project sites across the UK as required.
