Job summary

UKES Rail Ltd was formed in 2010 and has focused solely on the railway sector since 2014, delivering work for Network Rail, Southwest Trains, Southern Rail, Thameslink, C2C, and the Sussex, Wessex and Kent routes.

We are looking for motivated, fully qualified Electricians to join our team across our contracts. As an Electrician, you will work alongside supervisors, Electricians and apprentices, with a strong focus on safety, teamwork and high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• C&G NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition.
• Time served preferred.
• Installation and EICR experience.
• 2391 or equivalent; experience essential, qualification preferred.
• Railway experience preferred.
• Full clean UK driving licence preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• EICRs, PPM, reactive and remedial works.
• Installation of containment and wiring systems.
• Inspection and testing.
• Working collaboratively with Electricians, apprentices and supervisors.
• Completing all electrical work safely and to a high standard.

Electrician Job Description

We are looking for motivated, fully qualified Electricians to join our team across our contracts. As an Electrician, you will work alongside supervisors, Electricians and apprentices, with a strong focus on safety, teamwork and high-quality workmanship. Electricians must be willing to support apprentice training and development.

Night shifts and occasional weekends are required and are paid at an enhanced rate.

Electrician Duties

• EICRs, PPM, reactive and remedial works
