LondonEnergy in Edmonton, London, is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician for a day shift (Mon-Fri) on a full-time permanent basis. The role focuses on maintaining electrical and instrumentation equipment, implementing a robust PPM regime, and minimizing downtime through effective fault diagnosis and repairs.

The candidate will have NVQ3 or trade cert, heavy industry experience, and PLC/Allen Bradley and variable speed drive experience, with fault-finding from electrical drawings

Formación

• NVQ level 3 or trade certificate required.
• Electrical experience in heavy industry.
• Experience with large-scale installation and PPM.
• Experience in pneumatic systems repair and analysis.
• PLC controlled equipment experience (Allen Bradley).
• Experience with variable speed drives.
• Ability to fault-find from electrical drawings and rectify problems.

Responsabilidades

• Provide an efficient breakdown repair service and diagnose faults for quick repairs.
• Implement PPM on Electrical and Instrumentation equipment to minimise breakdowns.
• Carry out installation work to required standards.
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance to keep equipment in good condition.
• Liaise with outside contractors for repairs/maintenance.
• Ensure all statutory obligations are met.
• Possible on-call duties for operational emergencies.
