Job summary
CV Technical Limited on a Grimsby site is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to maintain, fault-find and improve electrical, instrumentation and control systems across the plant. The role emphasizes reliability, safety and proactive engineering support.
The position is days-based, Monday to Friday, 38 hours, with generous overtime and a comprehensive benefits package including pension, health plans and wellbeing programs.
Qualifications
- Experience in an industrial Electrical & Instrumentation environment.
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills.
- Experience with instrumentation and control systems.
- Recognised electrical qualification or apprenticeship.
- Good understanding of electrical safety and safe working practices.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned and reactive electrical and instrumentation maintenance
- Diagnosing and rectifying electrical and control system faults
- Working with instrumentation, sensors and associated control equipment
- Supporting the reliability and availability of production equipment
- Carrying out inspections, testing and preventative maintenance
- Working safely and in accordance with site procedures and legislation
- Supporting contractors and other engineering personnel when required
- Contributing to continuous improvement and engineering projects
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
