Solutions Limited, Alton, is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to support the maintenance of production and gas plant facilities. You will perform routine and non-routine maintenance on instrumentation and control equipment and respond to breakdowns.

Join a team working with specialist engineers and contractors, ensuring safety, precision, and reliability. Mon-Fri, 7:30am–4:30pm with a call-out rota and attractive benefits.

Formación

• 4-5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Instrumentation Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 held.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems required.
• Understanding of the oil and gas industry beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out routine and reactive maintenance and repairs.
• Service instrumentation, including transmitters and analysers.
• Maintain site equipment and services safely.
• Respond to out-of-hours breakdowns when required.
• Support new plant installation and commissioning.
• Work with specialist engineers and contractors.
• Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards.

Are you an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Technician looking for a varied role within a specialist industrial environment?

Our client is looking for an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to join their maintenance team, supporting the safe and efficient operation of production and gas plant facilities.

You’ll be responsible for routine and non-routine maintenance, servicing instrumentation and control equipment, responding to breakdowns, supporting new installations and working alongside specialist engineers and contractors.

The Role

• Carry out routine and reactive maintenance and repairs
• Service process instrumentation, including transmitters and analysers
• Maintain site equipment and services safely
• Respond to out-of-hours breakdowns when required
• Perform equipment isolations in line with permits
• Support new plant installation and commissioning
• Work with specialist engineers and contractors
• Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards

The Candidate

• 4-5 years’ relevant maintenance experience
• Instrumentation Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3
• Good knowledge of electrical systems
• Understanding of the oil and gas industry
