Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions is looking for an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to join a maintenance team at our client’s site in Alton. You will carry out routine and reactive maintenance on process instrumentation, transmitters and analysers, and support new plant installations.

The role operates Monday to Friday 7:30am–4:30pm with an on-call rota. You should have 4–5 years of maintenance experience, an instrumentation apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3, and solid electrical knowledge in oil and

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Instrumentation Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems.
• Understanding of the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and reactive maintenance and repairs.
• Service process instrumentation, including transmitters and analysers.
• Maintain site equipment and services safely.
• Respond to out-of-hours breakdowns when required.
• Perform equipment isolations in line with permits.
• Support new plant installation and commissioning.

Are you an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Technician looking for a varied role within a specialist industrial environment?

Our client is looking for an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to join their maintenance team, supporting the safe and efficient operation of production and gas plant facilities.

You’ll be responsible for routine and non-routine maintenance, servicing instrumentation and control equipment, responding to breakdowns, supporting new installations and working alongside specialist engineers and contractors.
