Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a practical Controls & Commissioning Engineer (Safety & ATEX) to support FAT, commissioning, and field testing for E&I projects in oil & gas environments.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, travel to UK/Turkey/Vietnam as needed, and close collaboration with E&I, project teams, suppliers and customers to deliver robust control systems.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years controls engineering experience.
• Strong Siemens PLC experience and FAT/commissioning background.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Hands-on troubleshooting, testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Test and verify PLC/HMI software in PCS7, TIA Portal and WinCC.
• Support FAT, Pre-FAT, iFAT and commissioning activities.
• Perform cause & effect verification and issue resolution.
• Produce and review design documents, diagrams and specs.
