Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Controls & Commissioning Engineer for a 6-month initial contract in the UK. The role focuses on supporting PLC/HMI software testing, FAT/Pre-FAT/iFAT, and commissioning activities across project locations in the UK, Turkey and Vietnam.

You will work with Hydraulic Power Unit packages and CAFS/INERT fire suppression control panels, ensuring software readiness, updates and functional testing, while collaborating with suppliers and clients to hit key milestones.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Controls / Instrumentation & Control Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Support PLC and HMI software testing, verification, programming, troubleshooting and modifications using Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC and/or Rockwell Studio 5000.
• FAT, Pre-FAT, iFAT and SAT testing and commissioning across projects and witness testing.
• Documentation: Produce and review FDS, Control Philosophy documents, SLDs, Diagrams and Cable Schedules.
• Supplier & Client Liaison: work with teams to resolve technical issues and ensure readiness for milestones.
