Job summary

WR Engineering is seeking an EIC Engineer / Control System Design Engineer in the United Kingdom to lead electrical control system design and development. You will work on control panels, schematics, and software, with tight collaboration across teams to deliver robust automation solutions.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering and proven experience as an EIC engineer, handling documentation, change control, FAT/SAT support, and customer-facing reviews throughout

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or Automation Engineering.
Experience as an EIC engineer in industrial control systems and automation.
Strong knowledge of electrical control systems, schematics, PLCs, and HMIs.

Responsibilities

Act as the Design Authority for controls engineering projects.
Design and develop control panel hardware, electrical schematics, and control system software.
Produce and review sequences of operation, specifications, schematics, BOMs, and technical docs.
