The role is intended to provide practical engineering support during design verification, FAT readiness, commissioning and software issue closure activities.
We are seeking a practical, hands-on engineer who enjoys solving technical problems and actively supports delivery activities.
The successful candidate should ideally have:
5-10 years of controls engineering experience Strong Siemens PLC experience FAT and commissioning experience Industrial, marine, oil & gas or packaged equipment background Ability to work independently and travel when required Strong communication skills with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
The position is not intended to be primarily project management focused. The successful candidate should be comfortable performing detailed engineering, troubleshooting, testing and commissioning activities directly.
The priority is someone who enjoys practical engineering tasks and is actively involved in hands-on, Instrumentation and Control (Safe Area and ATEX zoned) and Electrical Power and Control Design Documentation, like detailed drawing design, Comfortable with hazardous area compliance and functional safety basics (SIL requirements), rather than primarily overseeing projects.
