Job summary

Vision West Nottinghamshire College is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (Dyslexia) on a fixed-term basis to June 2027. You will support learners across provision, delivering tailored dyslexia support under the Dyslexia SEND Manager, with CPD training arranged as part of the role.

The ideal candidate will hold Level 2 Literacy/Numeracy (or equivalent) and have experience or training in Dyslexia. The post emphasises flexible, motivated individuals committed to making a difference for learners

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of Dyslexia support on programmes across a wide range of vocational and academic areas.
• Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy qualification or equivalent.
• Training or experience in Dyslexia is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a tailored support package to identified learners in the Dyslexia team.
• Work closely with the Dyslexia SEND Manager to support learners.
• Embed the college values: Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, Compassion and Ambition.
• Contribute to Additional Learning Support aims and CPD plans.
