Vision West Nottinghamshire College is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (Dyslexia) on a fixed-term basis to June 2027. You will support learners across provision, delivering tailored dyslexia support under the Dyslexia SEND Manager, with CPD training arranged as part of the role.
The ideal candidate will hold Level 2 Literacy/Numeracy (or equivalent) and have experience or training in Dyslexia. The post emphasises flexible, motivated individuals committed to making a difference for learners

Salary The salary will be based on a full time equivalent of band 3b, £25,000 per annum (pro rata for part time and term time hours). The pro- rata salary for 36 hours, will be £20,692 per annum.
The Dyslexia team supports learners across all college-based provision from entry level to Higher Education.
The ideal candidate should have experience and knowledge of Dyslexia support on programme across a wide range of vocational and academic areas. You will work closely with the Dyslexia SEND Manager, delivering a tailored support package to identified learners.
This post presents a genuine opportunity in Additional Learning Support and would suit an individual who is flexible in their approach, highly motivated and passionate about additional needs, specifically focused on making a difference for learners with Dyslexia and Dyscalculia. Training will be given to the successful applicant as part of an individual continuous professional development plan to be agreed and will be a requirement of the post.
You should have a Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy qualification or equivalent. Training or experience in Dyslexia is preferred.
