Job summary

Coventry College is seeking a Learning Support Practitioner to join our team in Coventry. You will play a pivotal role in supporting learners and staff, ensuring smooth operations and an excellent learner experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy, or equivalent.
  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Evidence of CPD in disability, learning difficulties, ASD, dyslexia, sensory impairment, challenging behaviour, emotional behavioural activities, mental health and personal care.
  • Experience of working with people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, or other support needs.
  • Experience of working with people with ASD or ADHD, communication difficulties, mental health difficulties.

Responsibilities

  • Support students, staff, systems or services to ensure smooth operation and positive learner experience.
  • Contribute to the overall learner and staff experience with a proactive, customer-service mindset.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to support college operations and services.

Job Title: Learning Support Practitioner (LSP) Location: Coventry College Contract Type: Full-Time / Term-Time Only / Fixed Term Contract - 38 weeks: Contract End Date: June 2027 Hours per Week: 37 Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm (4:30pm finish once a week and subject to timetable) Salary: £21,151 to £22,595 pro rota (dependent on qualifications and experience) £25,160 to £25,664 per annum FTE
