Job summary

Summit Systems Ltd in the United Kingdom is hiring an IT Systems and Automation Specialist/Manager to take over from the IT Manager and own the operation, support and improvement of Summit's IT environment and business systems. You will steer the Dynamics 365 transition, work with department owners and partners, and apply automation and AI to boost productivity while maintaining secure, reliable services.

Reporting to the Operations Director, the role has no direct reports and offers a hybrid

Qualifications

Substantial hands-on Dynamics 365 experience.
Broad IT support across identity, permissions, devices, connectivity.
Experience with implementations, upgrades, integrations or migrations.
Business automation, ideally Power Automate/Logic Apps: connectors, APIs, data mapping and failure handling.
Practical AI use: demonstrate a use case, outputs checks and human oversight.

Responsibilities

Support office, field and operational teams with business apps and devices.
Administer Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and OneDrive with permissions.
Maintain device inventory, licences and renewals.
Oversee networks, internet, Wi‑Fi, servers and cloud services.
Maintain updates, endpoint protection, backups and recovery testing.
Document requirements, data issues and reporting; coordinate migrations as needed.
Track supplier performance, licences and renewals within budgets.
