Job summary

Stuart Power is seeking a Yard Operative at our Worcester site. The role involves unloading/loading lorries, handling hire equipment, and general depot housekeeping. A proactive, physically fit candidate with a can-do attitude is ideal.

Experience with yard work (1 year), forklift operation (1 year), and hire/rental processes is preferred. A driving licence is required; forklift licence is advantageous. Hours are typically Mon-Fri, 08:00–17:30, with some flexibility expected.

• 1 year hire/rental experience preferred
• Valid driving licence required
• Forklift licence preferred for the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Unloading and loading lorries
• Assisting with machinery for hire
• Housekeeping of the depot
• Refuelling and cleaning generators and equipment
• Checking equipment returned from hire
• Completion of paperwork
• Delivery of equipment to customer sites as required
• Organising the warehouse and stock
