Job summary

SUEZ operates a busy material transfer station in Aldershot and is seeking a proactive team member to support day-to-day operations, safety, and service delivery on site.

You will operate mobile and fixed plant, guide tipping vehicles, run the weighbridge, record data accurately, and contribute to compliance with permits and health and safety rules, with opportunities for personal development and occasional weekend cover.

Qualifications

• Operational experience on site machinery.
• Current licences for loading shovel, 360 tele-handler and forklift.
• Background in waste/recycling is advantageous.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Good IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile and fixed plant and perform equipment cleaning/maintenance.
• Manage traffic and guide tipping vehicles on site.
• Operate the weighbridge and record vehicle weights accurately.
• Ensure compliance with site permits, legislation and SUEZ policies.
• Co-operate with customers and public, delivering excellent service.
• Assist with first aider/fire safety duties and other duties as needed.
• Cover annual leave and occasional weekend shifts when required.
