Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United Kingdom is offering a Transport Planning Apprentice position within a fast-paced network serving 194 stores and 77 supplier locations. You will learn to plan transport operations, analyse data, and support customers and sites while completing your Level 3 apprenticeship.

You will help create day-to-day transport plans, utilise CTMS, CFX and Paragon systems, and build strong relationships with customers and suppliers while developing cost awareness and profitability

Qualifications

• Understand end-to-end supply chain operations, incl. transport planning, forecasting and customer demand.
• Use transport planning systems and data/KPI reports to schedule work and support decisions.
• Develop communication and stakeholder management with customers, suppliers and ops teams.

Responsibilities

• Support transport planning activities to maximise vehicle utilisation and meet service targets.
• Use CTMS, CFX and Paragon to allocate work and assist planning deadlines.
• Gather and analyse operational data to support planning and cost decisions.
• Act as a key contact for customers, transport sites, suppliers and delivery locations.
• Support continuous improvement projects and best practice across the network.
• Follow SOPs and planning processes while building commercial awareness.
