Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is offering a Transport Planning Apprentice opportunity in the UK. You will support planning and analysis across a national network, learning to coordinate deliveries and optimise vehicle utilisation while developing practical skills in transport operations.

You will complete the Level 3 Supply Chain Practitioner Apprenticeship, gaining experience with systems and data reporting, plus stakeholder engagement with customers and sites.

Qualifications

• Complete Level 3 Supply Chain Practitioner Apprenticeship.
• Learn transport planning systems and data/KPI reporting.
• Develop commercial awareness and cost management.
• Build stakeholder management with customers, suppliers and sites.
• Understand end-to-end supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Support transport planning activities to maximise vehicle utilisation and meet targets.
• Use CTMS, CFX and Paragon to allocate work and meet planning deadlines.
• Gather and analyse operational data to inform planning decisions.
• Act as a key contact for customers, transport sites, suppliers and delivery locations.
• Support continuous improvement projects and cost management initiatives.
• Follow SOPs and planning processes while developing commercial awareness.
