Job summary

Marston Green Junior School is seeking a Teaching & Learning Support Assistant to support EHCP/SEND pupils in the classroom and to deliver bespoke interventions. The role involves rotating across high tariff EHCP pupils and building positive relationships to improve academic and pastoral outcomes.

The successful applicant will have experience as a Teaching & Learning Support Assistant, with ASD/ADHD/SEMH experience, a clear EHCP understanding, and a commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs including Autism, ADHD and SEMH.
• Understanding of Education and Health Care Plans (EHCP).
• Ability to support pupils academically and pastorally with positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support EHCP/SEND pupils in the classroom and via interventions.
• Engage with pupils to develop English and Maths skills and social/ emotional health.
