Job summary

Princefield First School is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. You will work under the guidance of the SENCO and class teachers to help pupils overcome barriers to learning and to deliver engaging lessons.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:45am–3:45pm, during term-time and ends at the close of the academic year. We value energy, clear communication, teamwork and a commitment to high expectations for all children.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A commitment to high expectations to meet the needs of all children.
• Ability to work as part of a team with energy and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher and SENCO in delivering lessons.
• Help pupils address barriers to learning and engage them in activities.
• Contribute to a safe, respectful and supportive classroom environment.
• Maintain records and assist with basic assessment and feedback as required.
