Job summary

Hanson Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teacher (SEN) for a full-time role with South Gloucestershire SEN schools starting in September. The position is Monday to Friday, during school hours, with pay between £150 and £180 per day.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS with Primary or Secondary experience, demonstrate empathy for pupils with extended absences, and be flexible, innovative, and team-oriented to support pupils’ learning through project-based and experiential methods.

Qualifications

• QTS with Primary experience or Secondary
• Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy for pupils with history of long absence from school

Responsibilities

• Teach SEN pupils using project-based and experiential learning approaches.
• Collaborate with school staff to support pupils and ensure a positive learning environment.
