Job summary

Philosophy Education, Ltd. seeks a proactive Teaching Assistant to join our pool for Kingston upon Thames secondary schools from September 2026. You will support pupils with learning needs, help them stay on task, and contribute to a calm, encouraging classroom atmosphere.

Role mainly covers KS3 (11–14) with some KS4 support. Training will be provided, and the position offers ongoing contract potential through July 2027. A flexible, professional approach is required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting teenagers in youth settings, community groups, or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning needs across the school to stay focused in lessons and complete tasks.
• Assist in managing students' emotions and behaviour to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Work primarily with KS3 students (ages 11–14), with some KS4 support as needed.
