Job summary

Philosophy Education, Ltd. is recruiting a Secondary Teaching Assistant to support students with learning needs in a secondary school in London.

The role starts in September 2026 on a full-time contract and runs ongoing until July 2027, with training provided and close collaboration with the teaching staff and SEN Co-ordinator. You will assist pupils across KS3 (11–14) and occasionally KS4, helping them stay focused, complete tasks, and manage emotions and behaviour in a supportive classroom

Qualifications

• Experience supporting teenagers in youth settings, community groups or personal life.
• Proactive, committed and professional with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support a range of pupils with learning needs across the school.
• Help pupils focus in lessons and complete tasks, and manage emotions and behaviour.
• Work with teachers and the SEN Co-ordinator; training will be provided.
• Assist KS3 students (ages 11–14) with some KS4 support as needed.
