Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Secondary Teaching Assistant in Stoke-on-Trent to support students across KS3 and KS4 and work with teachers on classroom activities and learning. Immediate start for part-time, day-to-day work with strong pay rates.

The role offers ongoing CPD and a friendly onboarding process, with opportunities for long-term placements and a supportive consultant team available 24/7.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students across KS3 and KS4.
• Experience supporting learning across a range of different subjects.
• A good understanding of the Secondary Curriculum.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A flexible and adaptable approach.
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting students' learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective classroom support and help students engage positively with their learning across KS3 and KS4.
• Assist teachers with classroom activities, student engagement and learning in a range of subjects.
