Job summary

The Education Specialists are seeking a confident and reliable Secondary School Cover Supervisor to join a well-established secondary school in Oldham. This is a full-time, long-term position, providing classroom cover across KS3 and KS4 while upholding a strong behaviour policy and supportive leadership team.

You will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage behaviour, and provide feedback to teaching staff. A DBS check and safeguarding commitment are required for placement in our schools.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people; school setting preferred.
• Confident managing a classroom independently and enforcing policies.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing; enhanced DBS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour.
• Support a positive and structured learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
