Job summary

Class Act Teaching Services is seeking a Secondary Supply Teacher for flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3/KS4, adapt to subject needs, and maintain a positive classroom environment across various school settings in and around Moreton‑in‑Marsh.

Ideal candidates hold QTS or equivalent and have experience in secondary settings with strong behaviour management, communication, and safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent and secondary teaching experience.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management.
• Flexible across subjects and year groups.
• Professional, reliable and organised approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage pupils quickly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons using pre-prepared plans across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach within your subject specialism or provide general cover.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment.
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet learners' needs.
• Support pupil engagement and progress during short and longer-term cover.
• Provide feedback to teaching and pastoral staff on pupil behaviour and learning.
• Contribute positively to the wider school environment during supply placements.
