Tradewind Recruitment LTD in Scunthorpe is seeking a Secondary Religious Education teacher to work across local secondary schools on daily supply and long-term placements. You will deliver engaging RE lessons, plan according to the KS3/KS4 syllabus and contribute to pupil progress.

The role suits an experienced RE teacher or an ECT with QTS, DBS enhanced, and the legal right to work in the UK. You’ll join a supportive agency with flexible opportunities, CPD access, and prompt payroll through

Qualifications

• Hold QTS status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching Religious Education or Religious Studies at secondary level, or be an ECT specialising in the subject.
• Have a good understanding of the RE curriculum and the ability to deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, with Overseas Police Clearances where applicable, and be able to provide professional references.
• Have a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible.
• Have the legal right to work in the UK.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive Religious Education lessons.
• Deliver a range of topics across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach about world religions and non-religious worldviews.
• Encourage students to explore beliefs with respect and open-mindedness.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress and provide feedback.
• Prepare students for GCSE Religious Studies and related assessments.
• Adapt to different teaching environments and school requirements.
