Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in Science, with Biology/Chemistry or Physics welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Using practical investigations and demonstrations to strengthen student understanding.
• Assessing progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Differentiating lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs.
• Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and high expectations.
• Monitoring student achievement and providing additional support where required.
• Collaborating with colleagues to share resources and improve teaching practice.
