Marchant Recruitment in Manchester is seeking an inspiring Teacher of Science to join its STEM faculty on a full-time, permanent basis starting in January. You will deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach A-Level Biology, Chemistry, or Physics depending on your subject specialism.

Qualifications

• QTS or UK-recognized teaching credentials (PGCE / SCITT).
• Honours degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a closely related scientific discipline.
• Proven track record or strong potential delivering GCSE and A-Level outcomes.
• Enhanced DBS check on Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsabilités

• Teach practical and theoretical Science across KS3, KS4 and KS5 as required.
• Plan and run safe laboratory experiments following CLEAPSS standards.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level practicals, data interpretation and exams.
• Maintain laboratory spaces and equipment with department technicians.
• Assess and report student progress through assessments and classwork.
• Fulfill pastoral duties as Form Tutor and support student wellbeing.

Formation
