Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment Manchester is seeking qualified Science Teachers for daily supply and long-term roles across the Bury and Greater Manchester area. We welcome specialists in Biology, Chemistry or Physics, with flexible schedules and competitive pay.

You’ll work in secondary schools delivering engaging science lessons with support from our in-house payroll team and CPD resources. To apply you need QTS or QTLS, KS3/GCSE experience, strong subject knowledge and classroom management,

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS required.
• Experience teaching Science at KS3/GCSE.
• Specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management.
• References supporting your Science teaching experience.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver science lessons as scheduled in daily supply roles.
• Plan lessons and prepare activities for long-term placements.
• Assess students' work and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain strong classroom management and student engagement.
